Several Examples of Sandwiching

This technique can be used when you are giving information, using vocabulary that your audience may not be familiar with. It is a way of defining something without saying, "The definition bloop is blah blah blah.". OR "Bloop means blah bla blah." This is a way to help your audience understand what you are saying. When in doubt about your audience's comprehension of a word or expression, sandwich!
And if you want, for emphasis, you may add, "So, as I said," in front of the repeated sentence the second time you say it.
Yesterday I found a solution to my problem. Yesterday, I solved my problem. I don't have that problem anymore. I solved my problem yesterday. Yesterday, I found a solution to my problem.
The match was cancelled. The match didn't happen. The match was cancelled.
I was disappointed. I expected something to happen, but it didn't happen. I was sad because it didn't happen. I was disapppointed.
