This is not a recommendation per se. However this is something that many language teachers teach. So, when a student asked me for help with reading skills, I realized his main reason was because of what was going on in his English language cla
So, I am going to recommend that he improve his comprehension of written English by developing reading skills through taking one or more courses in addition to the class he current has at school OR to simple do MORE of the activities that his teacher is currently having the class do in class and assigning for outside of class homework. In other words, it is just a matter of practice.
My search results on Coursera resulted in 18 courses.
The filter I used were "Learning Languages" and "Arts and Humanities"
Then I selected "intermediate" level.
So I read through the titles and dug deeper into a few for details.
Here are my results.
